Previous US president Barack Obama reported today he has collaborated with Airbnb's organizer to send off a $100 million grant pointed toward assisting college understudies who seek after vocations openly with overhauling.
Obama and previous first woman Michelle Obama said they got a $100 million commitment from the home rental stage's CEO Brian Chesky to begin the Obama Foundation's Voyager Scholarship, a two-year program qualified for youngsters and seniors in colleges.
The grant, pointed toward facilitating members' school obligation trouble and advancing travel encounters from the get-go in their vocations, will uphold 100 understudies in its most memorable year yet will extend as the program inclines up, the Obama Foundation said.
"Assuming we maintain that this up and coming age of pioneers should have the option to do what they need to do, they need to meet one another. They need to know one another. They need to see each other's networks," Barack Obama, US' first Black President, said in a video with Mr Chesky declaring the program.
"You will find youngsters from each side of this country who will be future change-creators. There are pioneers all over the place. We simply need to track down them."
Understudies will get up to $50,000 in monetary guide in addition to a payment to seek after a mid year work and travel insight. After graduation, Airbnb would give them $20,000 in movement credits north of a 10-year time frame.
The Obama Foundation, established in 2014 in Chicago, has two past grant programs collaborating with the University of Chicago and Columbia University.
