Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday portrayed as "annihilation" the killings of regular people in the town of Bucha outside the capital Kyiv recovered from Russian powers.
"These are atrocities and it will be perceived by the world as slaughter," Zelensky said during a visit to Bucha, where bodies were found tossed all through the town after it was recovered by Kyiv's military.
"You stand here today and see what occurred. We realize that a huge number of individuals have been killed and tormented with limits cut off, ladies assaulted, youngsters killed," he told columnists wearing a tactical armor and joined by military faculty.
"It's decimation," he added.

Russia's protection service denied its soldiers had killed regular citizens in the town as of late retaken by Ukrainian fighters.
England, France, Germany, the United States and NATO all voiced awfulness at the pictures from Bucha, where a portion of the bodies lying out in the open seemed to have been limited by their hands and feet prior to being shot.
