Shanghai said on Friday that it will just lift its lockdown in clusters once infection transmission outside isolated regions was gotten rid of to an acceptable level, as it reported a new round of city-wide testing.
In a Q & A posted on its true WeChat account, the Shanghai government said the city's plague was showing a "positive pattern" and that life in the city could get back to ordinary soon as long as the strategy was stuck to.
In a different explanation gave late on Thursday, it declared a new round of "nine significant" activities, that would incorporate more COVID testing for every one of its occupants from Friday.
